Jackson built this creation:
I remember having these duplos and the table when Jackson was a baby and just learning to pull to stand. He loved to stand at the table and play. Wilson is pulling to stand now, so it is fun to get out this table and the duplos for him.The Easter Lily
I substituted for Carson's religious ed class today. We talked a little about the sacrament of reconciliation and then we made handprint lillies. I thought this was a great craft for Holy Week, the week before Easter. The lily is very symbolic.

The lily is the traditional flower of Easter and is highly regarded as a joyful symbol of elegance, beauty, spirituality, hope, and life. These were so simple to make.
You need:
white cardstock or paper
green cardstock
green plastic straw
yellow pipe cleaner
Trace your hand, or your childs on the white cardstock & cut out. Trace two double leaf shapes on the green cardstock and cut out. Punch holes in the center of the leaves. Curl the paper fingers and leaves by wrapping them around a pencil. Wrap the hand around the top of the green plastic straw and secure with tape. Slide the leaves onto the straw. For the flower's stamen, fold half a yellow pipe cleaner in half and curl down the ends. Insert into the top of the straw. Voila! Easy. Have your kids make a few of these to display in a pretty vase this week. Let it be a reminder to you and your family the importance of this week and the upcoming Easter Sunday.
